Simply by following a few easy maintenance steps, your timber furniture will be protected and looked new always. It is recommended that the maintenance steps be followed in order to retain and enhance its natural appearance. With regular care and maintenance, you will enjoy the furniture for years to come.
Prevention
All timber will naturally weather to silver grey if left outdoor unattended. To maintain and enhance the original look of your furniture, the timber should be coated with a layer of outdoor furniture oil on a regular basis. We recommend a layer of outdoor furniture oil to be applied to the furniture immediately after assembly and thereafter at least once every six (6) months.
Restoration
If your furniture has already changed colour to silvery grey, it is recommended that you lightly sand the surface to reveal the original timber colour, then coat with a layer of outdoor furniture oil.
Natural Reaction
Adverse weather conditions may cause the timber to expand and contract. Due to this natural movement in the timber, you will need to re-tension the bolts in your furniture occasionally. Otherwise, you may damage the joints of the hardware or timber.
Secure
It is important to ensure that the umbrella is placed into a suitable umbrella base. Always secure the umbrella to the base to prevent it from lifting out and damage your furniture in the process. Never use umbrella in windy conditions and always fold it when unattended.
Undue Stress
Remember to hold the top of the folding table with both hands and drop it down gently. NEVER close the folding table by dropping down the top suddenly as this may put undue stress onto the joints of the timber or hardware.

What you need? Acan of Feast Watson Outdoor furniture oil (hardwood colour), plain cotton cloth, fine-grade sand paper and a bright and sunny day.
Steps:
1. Dust the furniture
2. Sand the furniture lightly (only if the furniture has turned rough)
3. Apply furniture oil using cloth
4. Then, give the furniture a throughout wipe.
